It’s Not a Mode, It’s a Movement!
October 2-6th is Rideshare Week for California.
International Walk to School Day is Oct. 4th.
Employers can pledge to support Rideshare Week, including some sort of special activity to promote ridesharing.
Pledged employers will be provided with promotional materials to print.
Pledging, promotions, and activities also help your worksite to earn extra points!
This year we’re using large sign-up banners for employees to increase the peer effect. If you pledge, iRideshare will provide a banner for you.
The iRideshare platform also allows you to run challenges between for your employees or departments. In addition, all trips logged as part of such an internal challenge also count toward the county-wide challenge.
A new twist in this year’s scoring system for commuters: people who are new to using participating in an alternative transportation challenge will receive DOUBLE the points for their trips, increasing the incentive to get new new people participating in Rideshare Week.
